What is the Norfolk Area Childcare Collaborative (NACC)? The NACC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to solving the childcare crisis in northeast Nebraska through a sustainable, business-led model. Our mission is to establish a replicable childcare cooperative tailored to Norfolk’s needs—one that ensures access, promotes workforce stability, and fosters regional economic growth.

What is the Kids Collaborative? Kids Collaborative is a new childcare center in Norfolk, NE, located inside the First Presbyterian Church on 10th Street, expected to open Spring/Summer 2026.

Where is the childcare center located? Our childcare center, Kids Collaborative, is located inside First Presbyterian Church, at 104 S. 10th Street in Norfolk, NE

When will the Kids Collaborative open? We anticipate that Kids Collaborative will open and begin providing childcare in late Spring/early Summer 2026, once we complete some building upgrades. Continue to check the website for updates!

How many children will Kids Collaborative accommodate? Kids Collaborative will be able to provide care for up to 71 children, ages 6 weeks - Kindergarten.

Neither my spouse nor I work for one of NACC’s business members. Are my child(ren) eligible to receive care at Kids Collaborative? Absolutely! While employees of NACC’s member businesses will have access to a priority waitlist, we anticipate 30-50% of our slots being open to the general public.
